I drove myself down to the nearby elementary school and voted. The process seemed onerous before I actually went. I imagined long, prohibitive lines, but there weren’t. I thought for awhile I needed a card that I’d misplaced, but I didn’t. I thought I wouldn’t be able to find the place, but I did. The workers were friendly, and the process took 2 seconds. I’m used to the mail-in option, which is nice, but it was also nice to actually go there and see all the different people who were voting. It was a nice variety, although, on average, not as many young people as I would like to see.
