double and done

Today was the last day of my 30 Day Challenge!!! I celebrated today’s class, the 30th class, by doing two classes back to back. For the last week or so, Z and I had talked about doing a double on our last day to celebrate. We didn’t truly commit until after the first class of the day because I wanted to make sure that I had the energy and blood sugar to keep going.

As it turned out, I had a very strong first class today. After class, I didn’t stay in savasana for too long because I wanted to have plenty of time to drink more water and cool off a little bit before the next class began. Between classes, I ate a handful of almonds, a “cutie” clementine, and a coconut water. I refilled my water bottle and sipped it, but didn’t end up drinking much more until the next class began.

My belly felt a little full from the food. All things being equal, I would probably choose just one small snack (instead of two small snacks) next time. (Next time?!?) Overall, I feel amazing. This has been a great experience. It has even inspired me to think of other things I can accomplish in 30 days (I’m thinking my own modified NaNoWriMo might be in order!) That’s the beauty of this yoga: I always leave inspired and feeling like I can accomplish anything.
